GMO is the only way
The human population is growing, so we have to produce more and more food, but how is that possible if almost all of our plants are vulnerable against many diseases and cold weather? There is a way - GMO or Genetically Modified Organisms.
First of all, thanks to the GMO we can create advanced plants which have better resistance to weeds, diseases and unstable weather. This allows us to produce enough food for all people living on the planet. Today, starving is a big problem, so it is very important to find a solution now.
In addition, we can make our food even better which means genetically modified foods with better texture, flavor and nutritional value. Everyone likes when the food not only tastes good, but is also healthy and cheap. There is no doubt that we need to raise our food's quality.
- GMO foods are not natural, it is for sure that our next generation is going to have health problems.
Yes, its is true that DNA from GMO is transferring to our bodies, by the same way as DNA from all unmodified organisms do. People have been manipulating foods and food crops for many years already. If you still think, that “it is just not quite time”....see you in 50 years.
Finally, GMO isn't something that we discovered just now, a lot of scientists all around the world have been working on this and have been studying animals for a very long time. It’s important to mention that the benefits of GMO are only going to be improved, and the downsides are going to be less and less harmful. Maybe we should wait just a little bit, so we can eventually get GMO to perfection. Anyway, we have to work on it, so we get this technology as soon as possible.
In conclusion, it is common that there are no differences between GM foods and normal food which we have been eating for hundreds of years. Every food has its own DNA, and the only thing we are able to do now, is to change it. Well, actually the right word would be to adjust it. That is exactly what we need - adjusting foods both for us and for the environment. So, stop thinking about consequences and let’s make our future real!
